Mr. William A. Clement is President & Chief Executive Officer of Atlanta Life Financial Group and Chairman of Jackson Securities.
Mr. Clement served formerly as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Atlanta Life Financial Group, Inc., Atlanta Life Insurance Company, and a member of the board of Atlanta Life Investment Advisors, Inc.
Mr. Clement is the former Chairman and co-founding stockholder of The Clement Insurance Group, Inc., a multi-line insurance agency. He was awarded the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation by the American College of Chartered Life Underwriters. He is a licensed insurance agent in the State of Georgia for Life, Accident & Health, and Property & Casualty insurance. Bill is third generation insurance professional.
Mr. Clement is currently the Chairman & CEO of DOBBS, RAM & Company (DRC). Founded in 1981, DRC offers a broad array of information technology services to develop innovative and practical IT solutions.
The company assists its clients, state and local governmental units, by evaluating, designing, building and integrating both new and legacy applications. In 2006, DOBBS, RAM & Company was selected as the Technology Firm of the Year for the southeast region by MBDA, the US Department of Commerce.
Appointed by President Carter, Mr. Clement served as the Associate Administrator of the US Small Business Administration in Washington, D.C. during the Carter Administration.
Mr. Clement was the Vice President and Senior Loan Officer of Citizens Trust Bank in Atlanta, Georgia, and served as Chairman of the bank's Credit Committee. He was employed by NCNB Corporation (predecessor to Bank of America) as a commercial loan officer/credit analyst. Also, he was employed as a stockbroker in the institutional sales department by The Robinson-Humphrey Company, Inc., a member firm of the New York Stock Exchange.
Currently, Mr. Clement is a board member of Radiant Systems, Inc.
(NASDAQ: RADS); he is the Chair of the Audit Committee and is designated by RADS as an "audit committee financial expert". He is also Vice - Chair of the board of Opportunity Funding Corporation and OFC, Inc., a venture capital fund.
He is co-chair of the Atlanta Action Forum; a trustee of the Maynard Jackson Youth Foundation; and is on the Board of Directors of The Commerce Club. He is also a member of the Trustee Board of Antioch Baptist Church.
Mr. Clement was the Chairman of the Board of the Atlanta Business League, and a former Vice-Chairman of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
He also served as Vice-Chairman of Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, Inc; and was a member of The Carter Center Board of Councilors; and a board member of the National Cooperative Bank, Washington, DC.
Mr. Clement is a 2004 Graduate of the Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) accredited NACD/University of Georgia Director's College.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Clement received his BA from Morehouse College and his MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania. .As member of the Society of International Business Fellows, he studied at the London School of Business.
W. Bruce Gow

W. Bruce Gow is President and Interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Grow joined Jackson Securities' Public Finance Group in June 1997 as senior investment banker. From May 2001until June 30, 2008 he was Chief Operating Officer of the Firm. He is responsible for serving as senior banker on a number of accounts and transactions.
Mr. Gow has more than 24 years of experience providing investment banking and financial consulting services to municipal bond issuers. Mr. Gow has completed over 250 municipal bond transactions totaling in excess of $20 billion for a wide variety of governmental entities and other municipal bond issuers. Before joining Jackson Securities, Mr. Gow managed the Atlanta Public Finance Departments for NationsBank, where he focused on tax-exempt bond issuers in the southeast. He began his investment-banking career in 1980 in the Public Finance Department of E.F. Hutton & Company in New York.
Mr. Gow earned a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a NASD registered Municipal Securities Principal (Series 53), Municipal Securities Representative (Series 52), and General Securities Representative (Series 7 and 63).
Robert L. Atkins

Robert L. Atkins, Jr. is Chief Operating Officer for Jackson Securities. Mr. Atkins was formerly Vice President, Pre-need and Treasurer. Mr. Atkins has more than 20 years in the insurance industry. He has predominantly worked in the Corporate Finance and M&A sector for several insurance companies. He began his insurance career as a Financial Analyst in CIGNA's Special Risk department located in Philadelphia.
Robert also served as a Director, Corporate Development in UNUM's Related Businesses Group in Portland, ME. He also was AVP, Channel Marketing and Finance at Colonial Life & Accident, a UNUM subsidiary, in Columbia, S.C. Prior to working in the insurance industry, Robert was an Over-the-Counter stock trader with Oppenheimer & Co. in New York, N.Y.
Robert received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bowdoin College in 1979 and an MBA from the Kenan Flagler Graduate School of Business in Chapel Hill, N.C. in 1985.
